Practice Profile

Benjamin joined Courtyard Chambers in October 2023 upon being called to the Hong Kong Bar.  Before being called to the Bar, Benjamin practised for 17 years as a commercial litigation solicitor, including more than 12 years as a partner of a Hong Kong law firm.

Benjamin has experience in a wide range of commercial disputes in the Courts and in arbitrations, with a particular focus on:

• large scale / multi party complex litigation;
• commercial fraud;
• injunction applications (frequently on an urgent basis);
• company and shareholder disputes;
• professional negligence;
• employment disputes;
• intellectual property disputes;
• trusts and probate litigation.  

Benjamin is an accredited Mediator and has been involved in a number of successful mediations leading to conclusive settlements, both as mediator and in advising parties engaging in mediation.
